Fargo: High-Risk Sex Offender New Address

Fargo, Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) Fargo police issued a public notice about a registered sex offender.

Police said Raymond Warren Rushton, 38, registered a new Fargo address.

The address is on 11th Street North, police said.

Police described Rushton as 5-foot-6 and about 235 pounds.

They listed brown hair and blue eyes.

Police said Rushton was convicted in 2008 in Cass County District Court.

They said the conviction was for gross sexual imposition.

Police said the case involved two child victims.

Police said a state committee rated Rushton as high risk.

That committee is the North Dakota Sex Offender Risk Assessment Committee.

The state registry says high-risk offenders are most likely to reoffend.

The registry also says some offenders must register for life.

The registry lists January, April, July, and October as the check-in months.
