FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – In a twist on a planned drug sting, a confidential informant was robbed in Fargo. Cameron Townson and Tabitha Standsontop, both from Fargo, are facing charges after the incident on July 12. According to court documents, the informant met Townson and Standsontop in the West Acres parking lot with $2,000 intended to buy 1,000 fentanyl pills. Instead, Standsontop brandished a taser and demanded the informant leave the vehicle, while Townson, armed with a gun, forcibly removed the informant from the car. The suspects fled but were later apprehended in Moorhead. They are now charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance.
