Fargo, Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) — A shocking Saturday night incident unfolded in downtown Fargo when a vehicle lost control and smashed into a building. According to Sergeant Travis Berger, at approximately 11:09 p.m., police responded to the 600 block of First Avenue North where they found a car lodged into the side of a structure.
Initial reports revealed the driver lost control while attempting a turn, causing the vehicle to crash into the building. Fargo Fire Department responded due to concerns over structural damage, but firefighters confirmed only minor damage occurred.
The driver was cited for speeding and failing to maintain proper care while operating the vehicle. The car was inoperable and had to be towed. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in this dramatic downtown crash.
