Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) – Fargo police have released an update on a Tuesday night crash that injured one person and resulted in traffic citations.
According to officials, the incident occurred at 8:49 p.m. on August 20 in the 900 block of 25th Street South. Police and a Sanford ambulance responded to the scene after reports of a three-vehicle crash.
Investigators determined that 28-year-old Landon Hegley of Fargo was driving northbound when his vehicle veered into the southbound lanes. Hegley’s vehicle collided with two southbound vehicles. One of the drivers struck in the crash was transported to a local medical facility for treatment of minor injuries.
Police cited Hegley for driving under suspension and failure to have his vehicle under control. Authorities confirmed that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
The roadway was temporarily disrupted as emergency responders worked to clear the scene. Fargo police remind drivers to remain alert and in control behind the wheel, especially during evening hours when traffic visibility may decrease. North Dakota DOT provides safety information and real-time traffic updates.
No further updates have been released regarding additional charges or vehicle damage assessments.
