Fargo, ND (🔗 trfnews.i234.me) – A Fargo couple returned home from a quick store run to a terrifying surprise—a mystery man was sitting on their couch, wrapped in their blanket.
According to police reports, the couple had left their house unlocked around 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Upon returning, they found an unknown man lounging in their living room, covered up in one of their blankets. The intruder, later identified as Ace Aguilar of Fargo, terrified them, prompting an immediate 911 call.
When officers arrived, Ace Aguilar was still seated on the couch, wrapped in the blanket. He told police that he had been stumbling around all night in the freezing cold, desperately searching for warmth. Ace Aguilar admitted to:
- Sleeping inside one of their vehicles overnight after finding it unlocked
- Waking up in the morning, fearing he was freezing to death
- Walking to the door, knocking, and then simply letting himself inside
- Grabbing the first blanket he saw and making himself comfortable
Ace Aguilar claimed he had no recollection of the previous night, except that he had been wandering around and falling over from exhaustion and cold temperatures.
He is now facing a felony charge of criminal trespass, as authorities investigate further details of the case.
