Fargo (trfnews.i234.me) – Agents arrested a Detroit woman in Fargo this week after she allegedly transported a large amount of illegal drugs on a bus route from Minneapolis.

According to court documents, the Cass and Ward County Drug Task Force received information on September 10 that Janelle Clark would be arriving in Fargo by bus. When agents approached her, she was detained and searched.

Authorities say they discovered 1,397 grams of methamphetamine, weighing more than three pounds, along with 86 grams of MDMA pills, also known as ecstasy. In addition, Clark allegedly carried two bags of marijuana.

Prosecutors have charged Clark with two felonies: possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and possession with intent to deliver MDMA. She also faces a misdemeanor charge for possession of marijuana.

Investigators say charges may also be filed against another person suspected of planning to pick Clark up at the bus station. Officials have not yet released further details about that individual.

Authorities note that drug trafficking continues to be a major concern along bus and highway routes connecting Minneapolis and Fargo. They say the seizure highlights the ongoing efforts of multi-county task forces to intercept large shipments before they reach local communities.

Readers can track official case updates through North Dakota court records as the case moves forward.
