Fargo, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A political protest turned violent in Fargo this Saturday, July 12, when two individuals displaying “8647” signs—an anti-Trump reference—on a pedestrian bridge over Interstate 94 were confronted by two others attempting to remove the signs.

According to Sergeant Alex Nelson of the Fargo Police Department, officers were dispatched at 12:33 p.m. to 20th Avenue South and 16½ Street South for a disturbance call. The confrontation escalated into a physical altercation, leaving all four individuals with minor injuries, though no one was transported to the hospital.

Authorities are preparing a report for disorderly conduct and simple assault, but no arrests have been made at this time.

The “8647” number is often used by anti-Trump protestors, referencing the hope to kill the 47th president.

Stay tuned as more details emerge.
