Beltrami County (trfnews.i234.me) — A terrifying blaze erupted Sunday night just north of Bemidji on the north side of Three Island Lake, leading to a massive emergency response and significant property loss.
The call came in at 9:14 p.m., summoning the Blackduck Fire Department through a mutual aid request from Bemidji Fire for staffing relief. The inferno at 16050 Black Lake Road Northeast had already consumed a garage, a home, an ATV, a snowmobile, and was fueled by multiple accelerants reportedly stored in the garage.
As flames engulfed the structure, Bemidji Fire called in additional mutual aid from at least Blackduck and Solway Fire Departments to help combat the fully involved fire.
No injuries have been reported so far, but this incident remains under investigation. Authorities urge the public to stay tuned for updates as more information becomes available.
