Exclusive: North Dakota Woman Faces Charges for Defrauding Elderly Victim of $400,000

BISMARCK, ND (trfnews.i234.me) A Bismarck woman is charged with scamming an elderly victim out of $400,000.
a 32 year old autumn mist morel of bismarck is facing charges of allegedly scamming a 75 year old victim out of $400,000 the investigation began in February of last year the victim allegedly gave Morel money on numerous occasions under the false pretenses that he would receive more in return in fact according to court documents the victim gave Morel a four hundred thousand dollar promissory note and she agreed to make monthly payments of five hundred bucks however Morel also allegedly presented fake documents saying she was to receive nearly a quarter of a million dollars and more from other institutions autumn Morel is facing six Class A felony charges related to theft of property and forgery each of the Class A felony charges carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison I’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
