GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) Two men survived a crash with a train near Grand Forks Thursday morning. We have an interview with the passenger, Richie Lorenzen.

Richie Lorenzen, a passenger in a pickup truck that was hit by a train in Grand Forks. The driver, David Contreras, and Lorenzen both escaped with minor injuries. Lorenzen explains that they were driving down a gravel road when the sun was in their eyes and they failed to notice the train. They heard the horn and tried to brake, but the train hit the front of the truck. Lorenzen and Contreras were lucky to have escaped with minor injuries. Lorenzen says accidents happen quickly and people shouldn’t jump to conclusions. He also mentions that he refused to go to the hospital, as he believes he will be fine.

  1. When u see tracks think train……My grand kids think I'm goofy because when they are in the truck I see tracks and yell train lol…..Most people only get hit once by a train.
