a Kensal North Dakota couple is facing a felony charge of child neglect and much more Kensal is 30 miles north of Jamestown Tyler and Amanda doctor have each been charged with felony child neglect and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia Amanda doctor also faces a felony felon in possession of a firearm charge and misdemeanor charge of ingesting a controlled substance meth according to court records on Tuesday a probation search was done at their home in Kensal officers forced open the door when it wasn’t open officers reported the homeless filthy the kitchen contained moldy dishes and old rotting food that emitted a foul smell there were empty bottles of alcohol dirty dishes and garbage lying everywhere they also found a loaded 357 revolver lying on the floor in a bedroom while officers were discussing that a three and a half year old child walked up to them talking about where daddy kept his gun officers also found rotting meat in a freezer that made them gag and what appeared to be the makings of a meth lab the couple was arrested and the children in the home were put under emergency custody of social services I’m Neil Berg reporting for i news TV
