EUCLID TOWNSHIP, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) – A residential property in Euclid Township experienced a significant fire on Saturday, leading to the complete destruction of both the home and its attached garage. The fire is suspected to have originated from a wood stove located in the garage. Upon arrival, Polk County Sheriff’s Deputies found the garage fully engulfed in flames, which had begun to spread to the adjoining residence. Firefighting teams successfully extinguished the blaze; however, both structures were deemed total losses. No occupants were present during the incident.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene, including the Crookston Fire Department, Crookston Area Ambulance, Warren Fire Department, Warren Ambulance, and the Red Lake Falls Fire Department. The Minnesota State Fire Marshal has been informed and is expected to conduct a thorough investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire.
