Erma Gayle Ronan, born on March 20, 1933, peacefully went to heaven on June 28, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a cherished member of the Faith Evangelical Church and the Wahpeton / Breckenridge community.
Erma was married to Leonard Ronan on Nov 2, 1952, with whom she shared 67 wonderful years. They were both born on March 20, with Leonard being 4 years older. Leonard preceded her in death exactly 2 months short of 4 years. They were both followers of Jesus and were used by God to share the gospel with many people, with both word and deed. Together, they built a loving family and a beautiful life.
Erma’s legacy lives on through her children: Dave, Ron (preceding her in death), Duane, Gary, Roger, John, and Joy. She also leaves behind 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren who will forever remember her warmth and love.
Known for her impeccable sense of fashion, Erma always knew how to look sharp and stylish. Her cupcakes were legendary, a sweet reflection of her kind and generous spirit. Additionally, she had a passion for gardening, nurturing her plants with the same care and love she showed her family.
Those who had the privilege of knowing her will remember her as the sweetest, kindest woman they ever met. Her family and friends will hold a memorial service to celebrate Erma’s remarkable life and the joy she brought to everyone around her. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
