ROSEAU, MN (trfnews.i234.me) TRF News has learned “Guardian Flight”, which operates an emergency medical services helicopter in Roseau will be stopping service in that town at the end of the month.
it appears Northwest Minnesota will soon be left without an emergency medical helicopter flight inews has learned through a reliable source that Guardian flight is closing its operations in Roseau on May 31st it will leave Roseau County and Lake of the Woods County relying on a Life Flight out of Bemidji I’m told that would be a 60-minute plus response time and minutes can mean life and death when dealing with a critical patient who needs a trauma team Medical Services fast we reached out to Guardian flights media spokesperson for comment on why they’re pulling service from Roso it is Saturday we’ll have their response if and when we get it Guardian flight’s website shows they offer medical Flight Services across the country in rural areas with headquarters in South Jordan Utah I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me

  1. Life flight saved my ex husbands life when he was stabbed 8 times. He was flighted from Roseau to Fargo. And taken directly into surgery when he got there. This is sad. I'm glad I left that area.

  2. Insurance companies won't pay enough for them to stay in business. The costs to operate a chopper is very high. But I guess your insurance premiums will go done now, right!

  3. This is capitalism. I would let some of my central mn taxes go to MW mn if it helps save lives. Insurance companies are an unnecessary "middle-man" that increases costs…
