WILLISTON, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – On July 21, 2024, at approximately 1:28 PM CT, a small single-engine aircraft encountered landing gear issues while landing at Williston Basin International Airport. The aircraft, piloted by Douglas Hilderman with Charlyn Hilderman as a passenger, arrived from Regina, SK. Both individuals safely exited the aircraft and were assessed by Williston Ambulance staff. Charlyn sustained minor injuries. The primary runway was reopened at around 2:30 PM CT. Responders included the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the Williston Police Department, and Williston Fire/EMS. The FAA and NTSB have been notified and are investigating the incident.
