At 2:49 PM on June 16, Rose Mary Selensky, 84, of Harvey, ND, was traveling eastbound on Center Street when she entered the roundabout and veered into the east ditch. The airbags deployed, and Selensky was transported to Sanford Thief River Falls with non-life-threatening injuries.
Her passenger, Eleanor Rosina Hoffer, 88, also of Harvey, ND, was uninjured. Both women were wearing seat belts, and alcohol was not involved.
Responding agencies included the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the Warren and Crookston Fire Departments, and North Valley Ambulance. The roadway was wet at the time of the crash.
