EGF Boardwalk Bar Continues to Defy Legal Orders in Ongoing Showdown

EAST GRAND FORKS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) Despite a lawsuit and restraining order the Boardwalk Bar and Grill remains open on the Friday night in defiance of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’ Executive Order that says bars and restaurants have to close for indoor service during the pandemic.
Neil Berg here in downtown east grand forks on a friday night outside the boardwalk bar and grill where they remain open they’ve got a full house in there earlier today the attorneys general’s office in minnesota filed a lawsuit and issued a restraining order which was served down here today however that restraining order was for them to close and the owner jane moss got a court date of next wednesday however she remains open now there was some speculation that maybe the police were going to move in down here and close things up but earlier this week chief of police mike hedlund told me that they were going to take no action and stay out of this and leave it up to the state and there was a large law enforcement presence down here earlier but i just talked to a dispatcher who says that was for a minor traffic accident just to block down out under murders he says uh police have no plans of taking any uh enforcement action here so it’s friday night and uh while an executive order remains in effect across the state to close down bars and restaurants for dining and indoor beverage service they’re open for business here at the boardwalk cafe in downtown east grand forks now i was parked uh right by the uh boardwalk cafe just pulling out under mers here we’ll show you why uh boardwalk owner gene moss and all the other restaurant bar owners on the east grand forks are so upset with this executive order not from this area here’s the red river we’re just leaving minnesota and heading into north dakota so bar and restaurant owners and the movie theater their multiplex just across the river has to remain closed and they’re competing with uh grand forks here in north dakota here we are we’ll go up third street here lots of bars and restaurants and up on this street [Music] so as you can see the street’s full with cars there’s bars on either side here this is exactly uh what gene moss was uh complaining about in other bar and restaurant owners folks just drive right over here and you can eat and drink all you want it’s uh not a fair system and doesn’t depend where you stand on the pandemic whether it’s safe or not that’s a whole other story but and that’s joe black’s there looking in the window looks like a pretty full house on a friday night and so the saga continues the uh boardwalk bar and grill versus the state of minnesota we’ll see how this plays out in the coming week i’m Neil Berg reporting for eye news dot tv

  1. I can see a protest starting over this witch can turn violent if people don't get there way we all have seen it happen so you can thank the attorney general of Minnesota if this all does unfold.

  2. Every free American needs to make a stand. Politicians should not be allowed to be Communist Nazies. Who is paying their wage? Obviously they never took economics in school. Everyone needs to Google the Great Barrington Declaration Thousands of top world Ivy League professionals Scientist and Doctors endorsed the declaration. Also look at the frequently asked questions in the declaration. Share with everyone. Free America!

  3. You can feel the depression and sorrow the second you enter Minnesota. I moved out of the state. My family is sooooo much happier. Friends, family. All come to see me because its normal here. Every single one is selling and moving now.. Friends, family and business owners. All have decided Minnesota is not worth it anymore. To many corrupt politicians trying to destroy people's/children spirits. And they plan already to raise taxes 2021-2022. I can say the quality of life me and my family 👪 has been dramatically change for the better since we moved out. Life is somewhat back to normal. Love it. Best decision I ever made. Friends have said the same who have moved by me as well. They said they where scared at first but would have regretted it if they stayed.
