EGELAND, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – 64-year-old Tammy Sue Lachance, a resident of Egeland, North Dakota, is facing serious criminal charges for allegedly embezzling more than $10,000 from the small city she served as an auditor. According to court documents, the thefts occurred between March 18th and July 11th of this year. Egeland, a tiny town with a population of just 32 people in Towner County, has been shaken by the allegations. Lachance is now charged with two felonies: theft of property and misapplication of entrusted property.
