Easter Warnings: Floods & Storms

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) The National Weather Service in Grand Forks has issued Flood and Winter Storm warnings for this Easter Sunday.
well if you wanted some warnings on this sunday morning the national weather service in grand forks has them a flood warning and winter storm warning we’ll start here at the red river at grand forks with the city of east grand forks surly bridge cam the river on this sunday morning has now it appears to have crested yesterday 32.3 feet on saturday now early on this sunday morning it’s at 31.6 feet flood stage is 28 feet not enough to cause any problems with the existing dike systems across greater grand forks but a flood warning remains in effect outside of the greater grand forks area could cause some problems on low-level uh cropland now let’s switch over to the und atmospheric sky cam for a look at today’s storm warning you can see on the map here a winter storm warning for basically all of northeast north dakota and to the east and to the south of grand forks an advisory for the rest of the region the national weather service in grand forks says winter storm warning in effect from noon to day on this sunday until 4 a.m monday heavy snow is expected total snow accumulations of four to seven inches winds gusting as high as 45 miles per hour for pembina eastern walsh and grand forks counties again that’s from noon on this sunday until 4 a.m monday travel could be very difficult widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility well happy spring and happy sunday everyone i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
