Intersections are among the most common sites for traffic collisions. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), approximately 40% of crashes occur at intersections, often due to drivers failing to yield or stop appropriately. Adhering to traffic signals and signs is crucial for preventing such accidents.
