Dunn County ( trfnews.i234.me ) – A Dickinson juvenile girl was seriously injured Monday evening in a vehicle and pedestrian crash east of Mandaree in Dunn County.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the crash happened on September 1 at 5:08 p.m. near Elmer’s Point. Authorities identified the driver as 38-year-old Brandon Muth of Dickinson. He was operating a 2016 GMC Sierra while backing a boat to park it.
Crash Details
Investigators say the boat was unhitched at the time. The juvenile, who was playing near the vehicle, was struck when a tire rolled and pinned her. Emergency responders provided aid at the scene.
Emergency Response
The girl suffered serious injuries and was flown by Sanford AirMed to Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck. Agencies assisting included NDHP, TAT Law Enforcement, Mandaree Ambulance, and Sanford AirMed.
Investigation
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. Authorities have not said whether charges will be filed against Muth.
