DUI Rollover Crash on I-94 Injures Four in Fargo

Vehicle No. 1: 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt

  • Driver: Jade Mayse, 23, Fargo, ND – Injured
  • Restraints: Unrestrained
  • Charges: Driving under the influence, driving under suspension

Vehicle No. 2: 2016 Dodge Journey

  • Driver: Tiosha Darden, 32, West Fargo, ND – Injured
  • Restraints: Restrained
  • Charges: None
  • Passenger 1: Patricia McCoy, 58, Fargo, ND – Injured, restraint use unknown
  • Passenger 2: Keith Goldsmith, 49, Fargo, ND – Injured, not restrained

Crash Narrative:

On June 8, 2024, the NDHP responded to a two-vehicle rollover crash on I-94 east of Exit 348 in Fargo. Tiosha Darden was traveling eastbound in a 2016 Dodge Journey when her vehicle was rear-ended by Jade Mayse, driving a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt. The collision caused the Dodge to roll over, coming to rest on its roof in the median. The Chevrolet came to rest in the south ditch, upright.

Mayse was transported to Essentia Hospital in Fargo by Sanford Ambulance. Darden and her passenger, Keith Goldsmith, were taken to Sanford Hospital in Fargo, while Patricia McCoy was transported to Essentia Hospital. All parties sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Mayse was arrested for driving under the influence and driving under suspension. The crash is under investigation by the NDHP.
