In the early hours of April 1st, 2024, a single-vehicle rollover crash occurred on I-29 southbound at the 32nd Ave south exit in Fargo. The driver, Adhitiya Monger, a 19-year-old male from Fargo, ND, was operating a 2018 Jeep Compass when the incident unfolded.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Monger, under the influence of alcohol, attempted to take the exit but failed to maintain control of the vehicle. The Jeep veered off the roadway, striking a Department of Transportation sign before careening into the west ditch and rolling over.
Despite the severity of the crash, Monger sustained minor injuries and was promptly attended to by on-scene paramedics. Following medical clearance, he was arrested for DUI and an infraction related to the possession of marijuana. Monger was then transported to the Cass County Jail.
