Oakport Township, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) – A horrifying head-on crash caused by a drunk driver traveling the wrong way on Highway 75 has left a Texas woman dead.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the deadly crash occurred on February 22 at 6:58 p.m. near mile marker 254 in Oakport Township, Clay County.
Crash Details:
The at-fault driver, 28-year-old Christopher Thomas Pink of Moorhead, MN, was driving a 2007 Toyota Tundra northbound in the southbound lane of Highway 75 when he slammed head-on into a 2022 Jeep Compass traveling southbound.
Impact & Consequences:
The driver of the Jeep Compass, 43-year-old Jennifer Elizabeth Watson of Ennis, TX, was killed on impact.
Pink, the at-fault driver, suffered no injuries.
Authorities confirmed alcohol was involved in Pink’s driving.
Watson was wearing a seatbelt, while Pink’s seatbelt status is unknown.
