Itasca County (trfnews.i234.me) was the scene of a suspected DWI crash Tuesday night after a 2019 Ford F-350 blew through an intersection and landed in a ditch.
The crash happened on March 4, 2025, at 8:18 PM at the intersection of Highway 65 and County Road 22 in Bearville Township.
Driver Identified – Alcohol Confirmed
Authorities identified the driver as 45-year-old Justin Jacob Driscoll of Cook, MN. Investigators confirmed that alcohol was involved, and Driscoll was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Crash Details & Emergency Response
According to reports, the Ford F-350 was traveling westbound on County Road 22 when it failed to stop at the Highway 65 intersection, ultimately veering off the road and into a ditch.
Emergency responders, including Nashwauk EMS, Nashwauk Fire, and Nashwauk Police, arrived at the scene. Driscoll sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Hibbing Hospital for treatment.
