MINNEAPOLIS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Clinton James Ward, a key figure in a significant drug trafficking ring, has been arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl from Mexico to Minnesota. U.S. Attorney Andrew Luger stated that this indictment disrupts one of the most sophisticated drug trafficking operations his office has ever encountered. Ward, initially arrested in January 2019 with over 8 pounds of methamphetamine at a Vadnais Heights hotel, fled to Mexico. There, he established his own drug organization and sent thousands of pounds of meth back to Minnesota. He was apprehended and returned to the U.S. in March 2024.
