Pennington County, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – In the early hours of Wednesday morning, a serious single-vehicle accident in Pennington County resulted in one person being injured. Kaili Schrems of Thief River Falls was taken to Sanford Emergency Room by ambulance after the crash involving a 2010 Honda Fit.
According to the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle was traveling northbound on Pembina Trail Southwest when it veered off the east shoulder. The car then crossed 110th Street Southwest, partially entered the east ditch, crossed back over the road, and ultimately rolled into the west ditch.
Deputies arrived on the scene just before 3 a.m. Speed is believed to be a significant factor in the accident. No arrests were made in connection with the incident.
