Fargo, Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) — Fargo police are investigating a reported stabbing in downtown Fargo.

The call came in around 12:13 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026.

Police responded to the 500 block of Broadway North.

The area is near the Bismarck Tavern, a downtown bar at 522 Broadway N.

What happened

Officers found an adult man with stab wounds, police said.

The man told officers he was stabbed during a physical fight.

Police said the alleged attacker was another adult man known to him.

The victim was taken to a local medical facility with serious injuries.

Police did not say how many times he was stabbed.

Police did not say what type of weapon was used.

Police did not say if the fight started inside or outside.
