FARGO, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – On May 4, 2024, at approximately 9:00 a.m., Fargo Police responded to a reported assault in an alley behind Fargo Fire Station #1, located at 637 NP Avenue North. Witnesses reported that two men, described as wearing biker jackets, had knocked another man to the ground and proceeded to punch and kick him. The victim lost consciousness after hitting his head on the ground. Upon arrival, officers found that both the suspects and the victim had left the scene.
The following day, May 5, officers were called to Sanford ER regarding a man with multiple head lacerations requiring staples. Investigators linked this individual to the previous day’s downtown assault. Security footage from the alley showed the victim engaging in a verbal altercation with two men in biker jackets. An attempt was made to escort the victim away; however, the two men pushed him to the ground and assaulted him.
On May 17, Fargo Police released surveillance images to the public, seeking assistance in identifying the suspects. Tips from the community led to the identification of the two men as Keegan Dahl and Timothy Sola. Both individuals were subsequently arrested. Sola has been charged in Cass County Court with two counts of accomplice to aggravated assault and pleaded not guilty on December 3. Dahl faces one count of accomplice to aggravated assault and has also entered a not-guilty plea.
