DOVRE TOWNSHIP, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) – A serious two-vehicle crash early Thursday morning in Kandiyohi County has left a 66-year-old woman with life-threatening injuries.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the incident occurred around 7:02 a.m. on July 3rd at the intersection of Highway 71 and 48th Avenue.

A 1996 Chevy Silverado, driven by Debra Mae Palm of Morton, was westbound crossing Highway 71 when it collided with a southbound 2000 Ford F250 driven by a 16-year-old male from Spicer.

Palm, who was wearing her seat belt, was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital. The teen, also belted, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Willmar Hospital.

The road was dry at the time, and no alcohol was involved. Agencies assisting included the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, Willmar Fire, CentraCare Ambulance, and Lifelink helicopter.
