Otter Tail County, MN (trfnews.i234.me) — On Monday, May 5, 2025, at approximately 12:33 p.m., a serious motorcycle accident occurred on eastbound Highway 108 near the Star Lake access in Dora Township, Otter Tail County. Two Fargo residents sustained life-threatening injuries in the incident.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 55-year-old Tina Evelyn Moe was operating a 2001 Harley-Davidson XL1200 when she lost control and laid the motorcycle down on the highway. Following closely behind, 58-year-old Robert Lee Shoaf was riding a 2006 Harley-Davidson Cruiser and was unable to avoid the crash, resulting in both riders going down.

Emergency responders, including Dent Rescue, Perham Ambulance, and the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, arrived promptly at the scene. Both Moe and Shoaf were airlifted to Sanford Hospital in Fargo with life-threatening injuries. Authorities reported that neither rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, and alcohol was not a factor.
