MOORHEAD (trfnews.i234.me) – On Sunday, two individuals were apprehended on I-94 near Barnesville following an investigation that began in June. Tyler Kania, 35 years old from Moorhead, and Laquedrick Lemel As-Sidiq, 34 years old from St. Louis Park, Minnesota, were stopped by Moorhead police and Clay County deputies for felony drug charges.
During the stop, law enforcement seized various illicit substances including methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, and morphine pills with an estimated street value of $15,000.
As-Sidiq has a history associated with drug distribution in Minnesota linked to a gang known as “Taliban Young n’ Thuggin.” Both men are currently being held at the Clay County Jail. The incident highlights ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies to combat illicit activities and maintain public safety.
