Donovan B. Linnertz, age 83 of East Grand Forks, MN passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.
Donovan “Don” Bernard Linnertz was born on October 9, 1940 in Red Lake Falls, MN the son of Hubert and Anna (Kees) Linnertz. Don grew up and attended school in Red Lake Falls, MN. On May 12, 1962 he was united in marriage to Therese Asselin in Oklee, MN. He worked for Lunseth Plumbing and Heating in Grand Forks and also owned Linnertz Construction. In 1979 he bought ABC Seamless in Grand Forks and owned and operated the business until the time of his death.
Family members who survive Don include his wife of 62 years, Therese Linnertz of East Grand Forks, MN; children, Rod Linnertz of East Grand Forks, MN, Missy (Wayne) Hiltner of Langdon, ND and Wade (June) Linnertz of Minneapolis, MN; 2 grandchildren, Claire Hiltner and Scott Salter; sister, Louise Lessard of Thief River Falls, MN.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Mary Ann Schindler and Lucille Jones.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor’s choice.
