On Thursday evening, just before 7:00 p.m., officers responded to a domestic incident on the 600 block of North Fifth Street in Grand Forks. Upon arrival, they found a female victim injured. She was transported to Altru Hospital by ambulance for treatment. The suspect, Mark Boyer, who resides at a different address in Grand Forks, was arrested after struggling with officers. He faces multiple charges, including simple assault, domestic assault, felonious restraint, preventing arrest, assault on law enforcement, terrorizing, interference with a 911 call, possession of meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
