Mahnomen County (trfnews.i234.me) – A Dilworth man is now facing three felony charges after a wild incident that began with a traffic stop on Highway 200 on June 7th and ended with a mud-stuck vehicle and a serious drug bust.

According to court documents, Lawrence Domino III fled from police but got stuck in the mud, allowing officers to catch up and search the vehicle. What they found was alarming: scales, three baggies of methamphetamine weighing 11 grams, and .22 caliber ammunition—a serious issue for a man previously convicted of a felony.

Domino is now charged with:

  • Felony Fleeing Law Enforcement

  • Felony Possession of 10 Grams or More of Meth

  • Felony Possession of Ammunition by a Convicted Felon

This arrest highlights the continued challenges facing rural law enforcement in tackling drug and weapons crimes.
