DEVILS LAKE, RAMSEY COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) – A high-risk sex offender is now registered and residing in the city of Devils Lake, raising serious concerns among residents.
Canku-Kaga McKay, also known as “Tony,” born in 1998, has officially been classified as a high-risk sex offender by North Dakota authorities. According to federal court records, McKay was convicted of sexually abusing a 12-year-old female on three separate occasions during a single night when he was 21 years old.
The shocking details led to his 2022 federal conviction, resulting in a 15-month prison sentence with credit for time served and five years of supervised release. Due to the nature and severity of the offense, McKay has been ordered to register for life.
McKay is currently listed as living at 225 W Walnut St, Devils Lake, ND, located in Ramsey County. He is described as 6’3” tall, weighing 330 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair, and he bears multiple tattoos, including a heart, a face emoji, and an artificial right arm.
Given his high-risk classification, authorities have made his status publicly available to help protect the community. Residents are encouraged to stay informed and report any suspicious behavior.
