Crookston, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) – A man from Devil’s Lake, North Dakota, is now facing felony domestic violence charges after a disturbing incident in Crookston, Minnesota, that nearly turned deadly.
According to court documents, on June 20th, officers responded to an apartment in Crookston after receiving multiple disconnected 911 calls in which a woman could be heard screaming in distress.
When police arrived, the female victim reported that Christian Arlee Hill—who was not supposed to be consuming alcohol—had been drinking. The two began to argue, and when she attempted to call 911, Hill allegedly choked her, obstructing her ability to breathe.
Hill has now been officially charged with felony domestic assault and felony domestic assault by strangulation, serious offenses under Minnesota law.
