Page, North Dakota (trfnews.i234.me) – On Friday night, June 20, 2025, fierce storms with straight-line winds of up to 110 MPH slammed Page, North Dakota, leaving a trail of destruction in Cass County.
Mayor Jim Heidorn described the terrifying storm, which arrived without warning around midnight and lasted over an hour. The winds toppled grain bins, uprooted trees, and even derailed a train east of town.
By Saturday morning, the storm’s roar was replaced by the hum of chainsaws and skid steers as cleanup began. Mayor Heidorn, who witnessed the damage firsthand, launched a plea for volunteers: “We need hands. We’re getting streets cleared, but people’s yards are full of debris.”
Help is coming in from Fargo, but more is urgently needed. If you are interested in volunteering or have questions, please get in touch with Jim Heidorn at 701-866-5916.
