Becker County (trfnews.i234.me) – Bobbi Jo Lacrosse of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, is now facing a felony charge following a traffic stop involving a stolen vehicle and a canceled driver’s license.
According to court documents, on June 20th, the Callaway Police Chief heard a dispatch alert about a stolen vehicle near Highway 59 and County Road 14. The chief located and pulled over the vehicle. Behind the wheel was Bobbi Jo Lacrosse.
She admitted to officers that she had borrowed the car from the registered owner approximately two weeks earlier and was originally supposed to return it within a day to a week. She also acknowledged arguing with the owner about the overdue return.
During the stop, authorities discovered Lacrosse’s license had been canceled.
She is now charged with:
