π Becker County, MN β Christopher Lee Peake, 36, of Detroit Lakes, has been charged with two felony counts of domestic assault by strangulation after allegedly attacking his significant other multiple times on January 20 and January 21.

January 20: Peake’s significant other questioned him about infidelity.
π΄ In response, he allegedly choked her with both hands for 8β10 seconds, preventing her from breathing.

January 21:
π Peake allegedly hit the woman and then choked her three separate times:
1οΈβ£ Grabbed her throat with one hand, squeezing for 3β5 seconds, cutting off her breathing.
2οΈβ£ Choked her again with one hand while backing her against a wall, lifting her nearly off the ground.
3οΈβ£ Used both hands to choke her, telling her, βYou’re gonna piss me off to the point I’m not going to stop.β
π’ The victim experienced blurry vision and had visible redness on her neck from the assault.
