Becker County (TRF News) – Detroit Lakes Man Charged with Felony Burglary & Restraining Order Violation
A Detroit Lakes man is now facing felony charges in Becker County District Court for first-degree burglary and violating a restraining order.
Craig Daniel Bellanger, 43, was formally charged after an incident that remains sealed from public view, as Minnesota Judicial System records do not always disclose details in domestic abuse-related cases.
Bail & Court Conditions
On February 3, 2025, a judge set bail or bond at $100,000 without conditions. Additional bond options included:
- $50,000 bond
- $5,000 cash bail under conditions, which include:
- No alcohol or drug use
- No possession of firearms or dangerous weapons
- No contact with the victim
- No further violations of protection or no-contact orders

Bellanger is scheduled to appear before District Judge Gretchen Thilmony on March 3, 2025.
