roseau county deputy chauncey jason gust of badger minnesota is facing dwi charges the case has been turned over to kitson county to avoid conflict of interest according to court documents uh gus is charged with three misdemeanor counts of dwi operate motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol operate motor vehicle alcohol content still at .08 within two hours and fourth degree driving while impaired according to court documents he was arrested on june 27th at 1 36 a.m pulled over by the minnesota state patrol at 242 63 210th street in roseau county uh court documents say he was driving a 2015 chevy silverado and his blood alcohol content was .11 the legal limit is 0.08 uh we reached out to roseau county sheriff steve gust regarding clancy gus employment status we have not heard back yet we’ll update this story if we hear from the sheriff i’m neil carlson reporting for eye news dot tv
