Deadly Party Violence: One Man Killed in Minneapolis Shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (trfnews.i234.me) – A tragic shooting occurred at a party early Saturday morning, claiming one life and leaving others shaken. According to reports from the Minneapolis Police Department, officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation on the 1700 block of 26 Ave N around 6 a.m.

Upon arrival, they found a man with life-threatening injuries who had been shot. Despite medical aid provided by police until EMS arrived, he died at the scene. An investigation revealed that a fight broke out at the party and spilled out into the street, escalating to gunfire.

Minneapolis officers arrested one individual for disorderly conduct as he was still fighting and refusing to leave. It is unclear if this man was involved in the shooting. Chief O’Hara expressed his condolences to the victim’s family, stating that “today, tragically, another family has been ripped apart by gun violence.”
