Deadly Intersection Collision in Sargent County, North Dakota: 3-Vehicle Wreck Leaves Multiple Injured

SARGENT COUNTY, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – A three-vehicle crash occurred on Highway 13 in Sargent County, North Dakota, at approximately 7:55 p.m. on Sunday.

The incident involved a Toyota Avalon and a GMC Terrain traveling eastbound when a Nissan Altima pulled into their lane to pass another vehicle from the opposite direction. The Toyota swerved right, causing the Nissan to collide with it and rotate. A GMC then T-boned the Nissan on its passenger side, resulting in a fire.

The driver of the Nissan, a 39-year-old male from Fargo, was transported by ambulance to Lisbon Hospital before being flown to Sanford Hospital in Fargo for treatment due to serious life-threatening injuries.

A 28-year-old female and one-year-old child, both from Milnor, were taken by ambulance to Sanford Hospital. The woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while the infant remained uninjured.

The driver of a pickup truck involved in the incident was not injured, nor was the passenger in the Toyota Avalon.

Responding agencies included the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Sargent and Richland County Sheriff’s Offices, Milnor and Wyndmere Fire Departments, ambulances from nearby towns, and Sanford Air Med.
