Deadly ATV Accident in Cass County, Minnesota

CASS LAKE, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A 20-year old man was killed in an ATV crash near Cass Lake, Minnesota Saturday.
we’ve had a fatal atv crash over in cass county minnesota this from sheriff tom bursch who says on saturday at 9 32 p.m they received a report of an atv crash with injury on mcgizzy bike trail east of cass lake minnesota in pike bay township deputies arrived on scene and learned that an adult male age 20 of cass lake minnesota was operating a 2020 polaris sportsman atv when he lost control while traveling around a curve in the trail causing the atv to veer off the trail and strike a tree the operator was found to have several serious injuries deputies and responders immediately initiated medical aid and patient care the male was transported by ambulance to the cass lake indian health services hospital where he was later pronounced deceased sheriff bursh uh reports that speed does appear to be a factor in this crash the investigation is ongoing assisting at the scene where leech lake tribal police leech lake ambulance and north memorial air care i’m neal carlson reporting for trfnews.i234.me
