Dangerous Blizzard Conditions: Expect Crashes and Stay Off Roads in Most of Northern Valley

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) We’ve had a crash on Highway 2 and no travel is being advised fore many areas of Northern Valley.
the polk county sheriff’s department is advising no travel between crookston and grand forks visibility near zero uh just before 4 pm we had a crash out of the bypass just outside of town i showed you it earlier this afternoon here’s some of that video as you listen to the emergency call unless if you could go to certain by south bypass unknown if there’s injuries we do have a family that’s crossways on the away no one vehicle in the ditch possibly another that has been struck from behind no one’s confirming any injuries at this time again highway 75 a south bypass just south of highway 2 and here’s a look at the streets in grand forks at uh 4 p.m this is a gateway drive highway 2 heading out toward i-29 uh then we’ll come back down to mers avenue we are in a blizzard warning for much of the region national weather service says wizard warning in effect until 9 00 p.m this evening a wind chill advisory in effect from midnight tonight to noon on thursday blizzard warning blizzard conditions high winds gusting as high as 50 miles per hour for the wind chill advisory very cold wind chills expected wind chills as low as 45 below where basically uh northwest and west central minnesota and northeast and southeast north dakota uh the red river valley basically again blizzard warning until 9 00 p.m this evening followed by a wind chill warning so if you’re thinking about traveling you might want to reconsider and stay home as we already told you uh polk county sheriff is already advising no travel between grand forks and crookston on highway 2 near zero visibility conditions i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
