Crow Wing Township, Crow Wing County (trfnews.i234.me) – A collision just south of Brainerd on Business Highway 371 on July 7, 2025, sent a 44-year-old Frazee, ND woman to the hospital after a failed U-turn maneuver.
According to authorities, Brooke Erine Ketter was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer when she attempted a U-turn out of a parking lot and pulled into the path of a southbound 2015 Nissan Altima, driven by Peyton Jaye Estling, 21, of Fargo, ND.
Ketter, who was not wearing a seat belt, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Joe’s in Brainerd. Her passenger, Christopher Allen Schultz, 37, of Frazee, MN, was not injured. Estling also reported no injuries but was evaluated at St. Joe’s.
No alcohol was involved, and the road was dry at the time of the incident.
Emergency crews from the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office, North Ambulance, and Brainerd Fire Department responded to the scene.
