Crow Wing County Injury Crash: Two Drivers Involved

Crow Wing County (trfnews.i234.me) – Two drivers were involved in a crash on Hwy 371 near Soder Rd in Crow Wing County on November 29, 2025. The incident occurred around 10:39 a.m. when a 2017 Nissan Murano SUV, driven by 83-year-old John Charles Madison of Brainerd, MN, turned left in front of a 2016 Volvo S60. The two vehicles collided, and both airbags deployed.

John Madison was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Brainerd with non-life-threatening injuries. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Kimberly Margaret Mannel, 43, of Brooklyn Park, MN, who was driving the Volvo, also sustained non-life-threatening injuries. She was wearing her seatbelt and was not transported to a medical facility.

A passenger in the Volvo, 14-year-old Benjamin Donald Mannel of Brooklyn Park, was not injured in the accident. Neither alcohol nor drugs were involved in the crash. The road conditions were dry at the time.

Local agencies responding to the scene included North Ambulance, Brainerd Fire, Nisswa Police Department, and the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities confirmed that all information is believed to be complete and up-to-date.
