BAXTER, Crow Wing County (trfnews.i234.me) — On March 11, 2025, at approximately 12:21 p.m., a three-vehicle chain-reaction crash occurred on southbound Highway 371 at Clearwater Road in Baxter.
A 2022 Dodge Ram Pickup driven by Nathan David Johnson, 28, of Pequot Lakes, MN, rear-ended a 2023 GMC Canyon Pickup driven by 41-year-old Travis Hamilton Grawey of Anoka, MN. Following the initial impact, a 2010 Ford Fusion driven by 23-year-old Briar Rose Sypnieski of Brainerd, MN, rear-ended the Dodge Ram.
Sypnieski sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Essentia St Joseph Hospital in Brainerd. No other injuries were reported.
The road was dry at the time, and Baxter Police Department responded to the scene.
