The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-
Jerome Anthony White, 23, of Cass Lake, for probation violation.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 5/1/2024 –
At 11:00 p.m., the CFD responded to the 600 block of 2nd Ave NE for a report of an alarm activation. Upon arrival, a large amount of smoke was present in the building. It was found that unattended cooking was the cause of the smoke. The CFD turned off the stove and ventilated the smoke out of the building. Once the area was deemed safe, the CFD reset the alarm and cleared the scene.
